It is worth noting that in addition to changing the name of iOS 26, the company has also redesigned the mobile interface. The company has also introduced Liquid Glass design, which will give next-level user experiences.
New AI capabilities added
Apple has also included new powerful Apple Intelligence capabilities in iOS26. Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi said that new capabilities have been included in the phone and messages from the lock screen to the home screen.
What is Liquid Glass design?
Liquid Glass is actually a new design language, under which users will get a translucent material look, with the help of which the objects present behind and around the icons will also be visible. Under this new design, users will get the benefit of it even during the lock screen.
App icons, Widgets will be changed
Apple can now also see changes in App icons, Widgets and other user interfaces. Liquid Glass materials may look similar to the Material 3 design language available with your Android.
With iOS26, Apple has also changed the look, feel and location of various apps. These include Apple Music, News and Podcasts.
